Our shipping practices are fully aligned with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and other relevant regulations, ensuring that every customer’s rights are protected. This Shipping Policy sets out the terms and conditions of our delivery services, the costs applicable to each region, the expected timeframes for delivery, and the remedies available to customers should any issues arise.
For residents of the Australian Capital Territory and nearby New South Wales addresses located within ten kilometres of the ACT border, Comfy Pets offers two delivery services. Express Delivery is priced at $5.99 and ensures delivery on the next business day, although this fee is waived for orders of $99 or more. Super Express Delivery is also available for $5.99 and provides same-day delivery where the order is placed before 12:00 PM (noon) on a business day. The Super Express fee is likewise waived for orders valued at $99 or more.
For customers residing in New South Wales, including the Jervis Bay Territory but excluding Lord Howe Island, two options are available. Standard Delivery is priced at $14.99, with an estimated delivery timeframe of two to six business days. This fee is waived for orders of $139 or more. Express Delivery is available at a charge of $23.99 and typically arrives within one to three business days. The Express Delivery fee is waived for orders of $179 or more. Customers located on Lord Howe Island are requested to contact us directly to obtain a detailed quote for delivery services.
For residents of Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania, Standard Delivery is available at a cost of $34.99, with an estimated delivery timeframe of seven to twelve business days. This fee will be waived for orders of $179 or more. Express Delivery is also available for these regions at a charge of $53.99, with an estimated delivery timeframe of one to seven business days. Express charges will be waived for orders of $219 or more.
For residents of the Northern Territory and Western Australia, Standard Delivery is available at a cost of $54.99, with an estimated delivery timeframe of seven to twelve business days. This fee will be waived for orders of $219 or more. Express Delivery is offered at a charge of $73.99, with an estimated delivery timeframe of one to seven business days. Express charges will be waived for orders of $259 or more.
For residents of Christmas Island, the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, and Norfolk Island, both Standard and Express Delivery are available. Standard Delivery has an estimated delivery timeframe of seven to twelve business days, while Express Delivery has an estimated delivery timeframe of one to seven business days. Due to the remote nature of these areas, shipping fees may vary, and customers are encouraged to contact us directly to obtain a personalised quote.
All orders placed with Comfy Pets are generally processed within one to two business days and dispatched according to the delivery method selected at checkout. Business days are defined as Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays observed in the Australian Capital Territory. Delivery timeframes provided under this policy are estimates only. In the event that a product is not delivered within a reasonable time, Comfy Pets will take all necessary steps to resolve the issue in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their delivery address is accurate and complete at the time of placing an order, as delivery details cannot be amended once an order has been dispatched. Shipping charges will be automatically waived where the order meets the free-shipping threshold for the relevant region, and this will be clearly indicated at checkout prior to purchase.
Comfy Pets is committed to upholding the rights of all customers under the Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to receive goods that are of acceptable quality, fit for the intended purpose, and accurately described. If products are damaged, defective, not as described, or fail to arrive within a reasonable timeframe, customers are entitled to a remedy, which may include repair, replacement, or refund depending on the circumstances.
